Conducting community surveys

Create a survey that allows community members to give useful feedback on any subject. When the survey completes, you can analyze the responses to get an idea of what users think.

Well-constructed surveys add value to the community in the following ways:
  • Community owners and members can gather feedback on relevant subjects.
  • Survey feedback can be used to set the direction for community content.
  • By participating in surveys, community members feel that their feedback is valued.
Note: Your administrator must enable this feature before it can be used.
Note: Community owners must add the Survey application to the community. To add the survey application, select Community Actions > Add Apps from the community's Overview page and click Surveys from the content palette.
